c its not about u making it to the playoffs philly, its about what we as players and owners n this franchise think. if u have cpu trades. man u might as well do a fantasy draft franchise. When I'm giving my opinion, it is about that. Me mentioning the fact I made the playoffs was my reasoning proving I could survive in both trading climates. By the way, I am one of those "players and owners" you were referring to. But you are welcome to voice your opinion. (dissenting or not)

This is the reason that I wanted to discuss this topic now and not have it take time away from the trading process and draft.
I think that we should have both. I know and understand that it is tough, and a matter of everyone's opinion when it comes to computer trades. I think that if we take "our" personal agendas out of the thought process, then it will work fine.
I think we pulled off some really successful CPU trades last season. We have a trade committee in place and if we do our jobs and REALLY review each trade, make sure that it benefits both teams, then there should be nothing wrong.
We just have to remember that just cause we are giving a "good" player to the CPU or what we think is a "fair" trade, it must fulfill a need for that team. No matter how good the player is we are giving. We have to treat the CPU just like a human team, cause it will be soon.
The problem lies in when the league members that are not on the trade board, cause they don't want to be, or don't have time to be, voice their opinion that they didn't ave time to voice until it might affect therm in some way by improving the level of competition they have to play.
We need to have a "TRADE Committee" and make sure we give them enough time to research, evaluate, and communicate with each other about the trade being proposed. SO if you ask for a trade to go through and give us 24 hours before the advance..don't plan on it getting done.
Just my thoughts.

Final ruling? We currently have 17 members. To change a rule, we would need a majority ruling. (9 votes) Looking at the GM's who said they wanted CPU trading "off" was 5 votes for the change, and 3 votes against the change. Did I miss anyone who voted for the change? You guys are gonna need 4 more votes to change the rule...

Philly thanks for doing the math for me...i have a hard time doin that sometimes *sarcasm* ...for some odd reason i thought the trade committee was actually voting on this instead of the whole league but i guess i was wrong...so there will be CPU trades kool...so what yall think about this rule being added and if its something in place already i am sure philly will point it out...i think we should come with some regulation on restarts/disconnects...
for example: if general and i are in a game he is up 35-7 in the 3rd quarter with 2 mins to go and their is a disconnect...do we just talk and go from there or should the game be started up and set back to where it was when game disconnected?

General, that is a good idea. If everyone is fine with me interpreting the xbox messages and turning them in to votes, I'll send a message out.
By the way, Bat Rastard voted against, so the Vote is currently 6-3 for "No CPU Trades."
Here are the people who voted for "No CPU Trades:
Gelatinous Cubed FSUFan General Puntang KervGotti Latinoboy Bat Rastard (He voted against it on the new site I think...)
Nation, Yur Teammate, and Philly Jedi voted against changing the rule.
So Kerv, the vote is not over... 3 more votes and there will be no CPU trades.
